I'm Sally an artist ... I Draw Burn, Print and Paint to keep my soul happy...mostly tho I burn
(hence my trading name Salix from the latin for willow & a derivative of my name Sally...Pyrography meaning to write with fire)
I create unique one off original pieces that I sell here on my website and at craft fairs around yorkshire...
My work is heavily influenced by fairy tales, myths, legends , song lyrics and the wild creatures I see on my walks in yorkshire...
I always try to find wood that has character such as knots or interesting grain with moss or bark...
